SEATTLE — KCTS 9 has received a $100,000 grant from the Kresge Foundation's Green Building Initiative. The money will be used to plan a high performing LEED building by making renovations to the station's 23-year-old facility.
The grant will also enable the station to explore building an addition to its current space that would meet the Living Building Challenge. The station is located on the northeast corner of Seattle Center.
